Counselling for adults

Counselling for Adults in Bourton-on-the-Water

A space to think, talk and feel heard.

I offer 1:1 counselling for adults in Bourton-on-the-Water and online who are finding life difficult, whether that's anxiety, low mood, stress, big life changes, relationships, or feeling stuck.

Many of the adults I see are parents or carers, and some come to counselling because supporting a child has left little room for themselves.

A neuro-affirming space for Autistic and ADHD adults

I warmly welcome adults who are Autistic, ADHD or AuDHD, whether diagnosed, self-identified or exploring. Sitting and talking can feel high-pressure, so alongside talking therapy I can offer creative, sensory-friendly options such as art, drawing, breathwork or grounding.

You choose what feels right, and we can change it as we go. I also support you to recognise your needs and to speak up for them, whether that's at work, at home, with family, or in appointments and meetings.

How I work

I offer a calm, confidential space where you set the pace. We'll talk about what's brought you here and what you'd like to be different.

I take a person-centred approach, which means you're the expert on your own life. Where it's helpful, I draw on ideas from CBT (looking at how thoughts, feelings and behaviours connect), and ACT (making room for difficult feelings while moving towards what matters to you). I tailor the work to you, and work alongside you to build a deeper understanding of yourself and to support you to express what you think and feel.

1:1 sessions are 50 minutes in person in Bourton-on-the-Water or online. I offer individual counselling only. I don't provide couples or family counselling.
